Pneumatic pumps usually used in the medical industry for blood transfers. This means that its impossible for the air bubbles to go into the cartridge. Because of the high price of these pumps, some of the manufacturers use vacuum chambers to suck the air from the chamber while refilling. But, if there are air bubbles in the ink tubes, there is no help from this vacuum chamber system. Pneumatic technology is used by only leading manufacturers. How many times can I refill my ink cartridge?
The answer varies depending on the manufacturer and the model. All inkjet cartridges have a limited life span, and typically a cartridge will last between 3 - 10 refills due to the electronics that control printer jets.
